Description
The wine is a rose wine made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The saign*e method is used to achieve the color, which preserves the delicate fruit flavors. The wine is then aged for 72 months in steel vats. The wine has a strawberry, black cherry, raspberry note and a hint of rose water in the background. The wine has a soft mousse with a rich and generous attack, and a clean, dry finish. The wine has a tantalizing balance and generosity of fruit, making it a great ap*ritif and food wine.
When making the (58%) Pinot Noir and (42%) Chardonnay BrutRos*, the saign*e method is used to achieve the colour. Juice is 'bled off' (saign*e)from the press when it has extracted the right level of colour. The base wines are then cool fermentedin steel vats to preserve their delicate fruit flavours followed by 72 months bottle ageing on itslees.
Strawberry, black cherry, raspberry notes jump out of the glass with ahint of rose water in the background. The mousse is fine, and soft, with a rich,generous attack developing beautifully in the mouth into a clean, dry finish. Tantalisingbalance and generosity of fruit make this a great ap*ritif and food wine.
