Description
The 2014 Oloroso - Highveld Aging Series is a 100% pot still whisky that has been double distilled and aged in an Oloroso sherry butt. The whisky has been aged for a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 1 year in the highveld region of South Africa. The whisky has a 55% ABV.
Double distillation, 100% pot still with approximately four times the ester count of the regular barbet column still. Full ageing in an Oloroso sherry butt, filled 15/10/2014.

Profile:Decadent.
Colour:Dark golden brown.
Nose:Wet tobacco leaf immediately transports you into a cigar lounge. Wild herbs in the back, dried apricots at the front, dried apples and a little cinnamon.
Palate:Milk chocolate combined with some wafer in the middle. Digging deeper, we pick up banana chips, sultanas, caramelised sugar and wild herbs.
Finish:Luxurious, milk chocolate coating and full.
