Vaporub Vaporizing Ointment is a menthol, camphor, and eucalyptus-based ointment that is used to relieve symptoms of a head cold or nasal congestion. Adults and children older than 12 years should apply 10-15 ml of the ointment 2-4 times daily, while children 6-12 years should apply 5-10 ml of the ointment 2-4 times daily. Children 2.5 years old should apply 2.5-5 ml of the ointment 2-3 times daily. Dissolve 5-10 ml of the ointment into 500 ml hot (not boiling) water and inhale the aromatic vapors for 10-15 minutes.
