The PanPastel Colours are professional grade soft pastel colors that are packed in a unique pan format (cake-like). They are very low dust for a cleaner working environment, and all 80 PanPastel Colours are made using a unique manufacturing process requiring minimal binder and fillers, resulting in rich, ultra soft and low dust formulations. Only professional artists' grade pigments are used for the most concentrated colors possible. The colors have excellent lightfastness and are fully erasable. Each pan contains 40% more material than the average pastel stick, and yields approx. 4-5 times more coverage than sticks. PanPastel Colours are fully compatible with: Pastel sticks, pencils, markers. Other artist's colors and mediums for mixed media techniques. Most art and craft surfaces (from delicate handmade papers to toothy pastel surfaces). Conventional spray fixatives.
Metallic PanPastels can be mixed like paint for an infinite palette of metallic effects. They can be blended with any of the 80 original PanPastel colours.
