You can use HERO13 Black Enduro batteries as backups, but they won't provide the extended run-times and won't support fast charging. Enduro 2 batteries are also backward compatible with select HERO Black models. Thanks to the GP3 processor, advanced hardware optimization, and the higher-capacity Enduro 2 battery with fast-charging, youll get the longest continuous runtimes and most dependable thermal performance of any GoPro ever.
