Description
Haig Dimple is a 15 year old whisky that is made with single malt whiskies from Glenkinchie and Linkwood. It has a toffee and spice nose with a slight citrus edge, and a little water can help to open the nose further. The taste is surprisingly rough at first, but quickly settles to a warm, slightly smokey taste with an underlying caramel sweetness. The finish is short, with a fairly short finish of burnt fudge or caramel with a hint of oak in the background. The bottle size is 750ml.
Haig Dimplewas named after the unique shape of the Dimple bottle. It was also known as Dimple Pinch in the USA, albeit in a stronger 43%abv expression. Haig Dimple is the upmarket brother of Haig Gold with an age statement of 15 years and a much more malty influence including single Malt Whiskies from Glenkinchie and Linkwood in the blend.
