The cohesive bandage is a bandage made of elastic material that is easy to use and does not stick to the skin. It is also self-adherent, meaning that it will stick to itself, making it easy to secure the bandage. Cohesive elastic bandages are used for general support and compression for soft tissue injuries and immobilised joints.
