The Ajax Wireless Glass Protect White is a small wireless detector that notifies of glass being broken by intruders. It is installed at a distance of 9 m from the window and filters events that cause false alarms about breakage. It has authentication to prevent forgery, jamming detection and communication channels encryption, and a tampering alarm. It operates up to 7 years without battery replacement and ignores thunder, dogs barking and noise outside the window. The detector has a sensing element of an electret microphone and a break detection distance of up to 9 m. The alarm signal delivery time is 0.15 s and the sensitivity is adjustable, 3 levels. The detector has a detection angle of 180. The detector has a power supply of a CR123A battery and a battery life of up to 7 years. The detector is communication-enabled with a central unit and has a range of up to 1,000 m in an open space. The detector operates at frequencies of 868.0-868.6 MHz. Ajax GlassProtect White is a miniature wireless indoor glass break detector that recognizes the sound of glass breaking from a distance of up to 9 meters. At the same time, passing cars or barking dogs do not cause false alarms.
The GlassProtect can operate up to 7 years from a pre-installed battery and has a socket for connecting a third-party wired detector.GlassProtect operates within the Ajax system, connected to the hub via the protected Jeweller protocol.
The detector is compatible only with Ajax Hub, Ajax Hub Plus, Ajax ReX, Ajax ocBridge Plus and Ajax uartBridge.
