Description

The Cointreau Distillery was established in 1849 in by Saint-Barth*lemy-dAnjou, France by brothers Adolphe and Edouard-Jean Cointreau. While producing many spirit aperitifs at the time, the brothers truly found fame when they created the unique blend of sweet and bitter orange peel with pure alcohol, now famously known around the world.

Cointreau is the cornerstone of more than 350 internationally renowned cocktails such as the Margarita, Sidecar and Cosmopolitan. It can be consumed neat as an aperitif or digestif, but the best way to enjoy Cointreau is in a Cointreau Fizz. Fill a tall glass with ice, add Cointreau, the juice of half a lime and top up with soda water.
