Makers 46 Starts with fully matured Maker's Mark straight out of the barrel. But then it takes a bold twist. The Kentucky Distillery adds seared French Oak staves to the barrel, and then ages it a bit longer - only in winter, when bourbon matures more slowly. The result is a bolder, more complex whisky.

Nose:Hints of wood staves, caramel and sweetness. Palate:Very intense flavours; a big crescendo of wood blending perfectly with deep, complex and rich notes of vanilla and caramel. Finish:Smooth and subtle. Bottle size: 750ml Alc 47%
