These emery boards are specifically designed for use on nails that are prone to breaking or becoming brittle. They come with two different types of emery particles - one for finer work and the other for more robust nails.
These emery boards, in flexible wood, are particularly recommended for fragile nails. They have 2 emery particle sizes- the yellow, rougher side of the emery board is for an eventual preliminary filing and may be used for mens nails (generally thicker and harder) and for toenails. The thinner, lighter coloured side allows precise filing.SpecificationsUse the fine side in long and light sweeping moves, from side to center of nail to shape the nail. To avoid weakening nails do not file onto the sides of the nail and hold the emery board inclined. The yellow rougher side is used on thicker harder nails.
