This counteracts vertigo on rising or rapid change of position, difficult breathing and restlessness which leads to a rapid pulse and heart muscle strain.

The Lobelia inflata acts on the vaso-muscular system to relieve vertigo, nausea, sudden pallor of the face with sweating and dyspnoea with chest constriction, all symptoms of lowered blood pressure.
