Description
The essential oil is from the yellow blooms of ylang ylang flowers, which are steam distilled. It is well known for its antidepressant and aphrodisiac properties, which can increase and stimulate sexual desire. It can be used to soothe insect bites, and is also calming, frigid, and impotence-promoting. The recipe calls for 5 drops of ylang ylang essential oil, 5 drops of lavender essential oil, 2 drops of rosemary essential oil, and coconut oil or argan oil. The blend well with other essential oils such as bergamot, grapefruit, jasmine, lavender, lemon, neroli, orange, and rose.
