The Italian Job - Import Blu-ray Disc

The Italian Job is a 2003 British-American heist film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Gray and Anthony Peckham. It is a remake of the 1969 film of the same name, also directed by Gray and written by Gray and Peter Collinson. The film stars Michael Caine, Noel Coward, and Jason Statham. The film tells the story of Charlie Croker (Michael Caine), a petty criminal who is released from prison and inherits a $4 million gold robbery that was planned by his former partner, who was murdered. Croker needs to find someone to help him pull off the heist, and he finds that Mr. Bridger (Noel Coward), a British crime boss still incarcerated, is willing to help. Croker assembles a team of criminals to help him pull off the heist, including drivers, computer experts, and bank robbers. The heist goes off without a hitch, but as they are getting away in their minis, they are accompanied by the song "Getta Bloomin' Move On" (aka "Self Preservation Society"), written by Quincy Jones and George Martin.
