Audioquest Vdm-a 1M 75-OHM Coaxial Cable

The AudioQuest VDM-A 1m 75-Ohm Coaxial Cable is a precision-engineered digital interconnect designed to transmit S/PDIF digital audio and composite video signals with the low-jitter, high-resolution performance that AudioQuest's cable technology demands. At the heart of the VDM-A is a solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductor that minimises the grain-boundary distortion responsible for jitter and signal degradation in digital coaxial connections the kind of subtle but audible degradation that undermines the performance of even the finest DACs and AV receivers. The cable's precision-controlled 75-ohm impedance ensures perfect impedance matching with the digital coaxial outputs and inputs on your equipment, eliminating the reflections and signal anomalies that occur when impedance is mismatched.

Foamed-polyethylene insulation maintains this 75-ohm characteristic impedance consistently along the full 1-metre run, while cold-welded, gold-plated RCA terminations at both ends eliminate solder-induced signal loss at the connection points. At 1 metre, the VDM-A is the ideal length for direct connections between a CD player and a DAC, a Blu-ray player and an AV receiver, a cable box and a television, or any two components with 75-ohm coaxial digital connections in close proximity.
