The Yamazaki 18 Year Old Limited Edition is a highly collectible presentation of one of Japans most celebrated aged single malts. Produced by Suntory at the historic Yamazaki Distillery, this edition was originally released for the Japanese travel-retail market and pairs the acclaimed 18 Year Old whisky with distinctive limited-edition packaging.

Matured for a minimum of 18 years, the whisky draws its character from maturation in sherry butts, American oak and Japanese Mizunara oak, producing the dark-fruited, chocolate-rich style for which Yamazaki 18 has become known. It is bottled at 43% ABV. What makes this release particularly striking is its presentation.

The bottle features a silhouette of the Yamazaki Distillery, while the whisky is housed in an elaborate Paulownia wood presentation case inspired by the bamboo forests surrounding Yamazaki. Tasting Notes Colour: Deep amber with rich mahogany highlights. Nose: Raisin, dried apricot and dark fruit lead into layers of cocoa, polished oak and gentle spice, with the mature wood influence adding considerable depth. Palate: Rich and beautifully layered. Blackberry and strawberry preserve meet dark chocolate, dried fruit and warming oak spice, balanced by Yamazakis characteristic elegance.

Finish: Long, smooth and lingering, with dark chocolate, mature oak and persistent spice gradually fading into a refined sweetness.
