YES!

The point is the thickness of your fabric. Standard prong length of Size 20 is 5.6mm. They work for fabric thickness of 2mm.

Will these go through two layers of fabric?
Depends on the thickness. OK for two layers of light fleece, light vinyl. Not recommended for multi-layer material.

Which snaps work with very thick / dense material like double layers of marine vinyl or thick leather?
Size 20 EXTRA LONG snaps.

Are the pliers compatible with other brands of snap?
Yes, for size 16, 20 and 22. Only for plastic snaps, not metal snaps.

The cap diameter is 12.4mm (1/2"), which is too big for barbie clothes.
