GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR BEURER HEATED BLANKET: The quickest way to heat up the heated throw is to select the highest temperature setting on the control, first. If the heated underblanket is being used over several hours, we recommend that you set the lowest temperature setting on the control to avoid the body overheating and thereby any potential burns to the skin or heat stroke.
NB NOTE ON HEAT: Please note that due to strict European safety standards the blanket warms up to a very comfortable warm temperature which enhances the effect of the cosy fabric and never gets very hot. The temperature development ranges from 31 degrees Celsius on level 1, to 49 degrees Celsius on level 6 (with +/- a 3 degree C heat variable).
The final temperature is reached after 30-45 minutes. NB NOTES ON MACHINE WASHING: Machine washable up 30 degrees Celsius on an extra delicate cycle once the control has been removed. Please note that frequent washing has a negative effect on the product. The device could be washed in a washing machine once per season, if necessary, and a maximum of 5 times during its life.
Immediately after washing, reshape to the original dimensions while wet and spread it out flat over a clothes horse to dry. Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle wash cycle (lowest spin rpm) at maximum 30 degrees Celsius (wool cycle). Use a delicate laundry detergent and measure it out according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Do not chemically clean, wring out, tumble dry, put through a mangle, or iron. Small marks can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge and, if necessary, with a little liquid detergent for delicate laundry. Do not use pegs or similar items. Failure to
