This is a HobbyBoss 1/35 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Leopard 2 tank, a main battle tank (MBT) that is currently in service with the German Army. Fitted with a Rheinmetall 120-mm main gun and a 1,479 hp MTU MB 873 Ka-501 12-cylinder diesel engine, the Leopard 2 is a tank of exceptional firepower and maneuverability. The Leopard 2 first saw combat in Kosovo with the German Army and has also seen action in Afghanistan with the Danish and Canadian ISAF forces.
