Description
The Cold Steel SRK Survival Knife is a fixed blade knife that is designed for use in a variety of situations. It is made with Japanese SK-5 high carbon steel, which has a hardness near Rc 65 and produces a mixture of carbon rich martensite with some small undissolved carbides. The excess carbide increases abrasion resistance and allows the steel to achieve an ideal balance of very good blade toughness with superior edge holding ability. The Cold Steel SRK Survival Knife is also available with a black Tuff-Ex finish, which makes it resistant to corrosion and wear.
