The Sunix SER6437AL 2-PORT RS-232 Low Profile PCI Express Board is a PCI Express serial communication board that meets the PCI Express Base Specification Revision 2.0. It allows users to add or expand two RS-232 COM ports on PC-based systems to use serial devices further. The majority of todays motherboard is not equipped with serial ports or only have one serial port. With the Sunix PCI Express serial board, users can add one serial port to their system, allowing them to use serial devices further. The Sunix SER6437AL card has 128-bytes onboard FIFO buffer and is compatible with 16C950 UART specifications. The Sunix UART controller, SUN2212, is built with many of Sunix advanced features and technologies, making it the best solution for commercial and industrial automation applications.
