Rhassoul clay is a 100% natural mineral clay that is used as a soap, shampoo, and mask base. It has a reddish brown color and is also commonly known as Ghassoul Clay or Moroccan Lava Clay. Rhassoul clay powder can be used to even out skin tone, reduce blemishes and draw out blackheads, improve hair elasticity and reduce flakiness. It can also be used as a natural colorant in DIY cosmetics. There are some warnings associated with using rhassoul clay powder, such as it being best to mix it in an old bowl as the clay is quite abrasive, and it is best to use gloves when handling the powder.

HOW TO USE RHASSOUL CLAY POWDER
It's best to mix in an old bowl as the clay is quite abrasive and could damage the surface of your best kitchen crockery. Just place your clay into your chosen bowl and add water. Leave this to stand for a few minutes until the clay pieces have dissolved. After the clay has hydrated you can stir so that you get a consistent paste which will be easy to apply with your fingers. You can then add any other ingredients that you wish to make part of your mask or hair treatment.

Turkish Delight Clay Mask
A gentle mask for any skin type that is also antiaging.
2 T rhassoul clay
3 T rose water
1 T mashed avocado
Squeeze of honey
2-3 drops essential oil of choice, try rose, geranium or frankincense
