There is no driver installation required, and power is supplied via Mini DisplayPort. This is convenient for your work study and live. The VGA Port supports max resolution of 1920x1200P/60Hz,8-bit deep color/162Mhz, while the DVI Port supports max resolution of 1920x1080P/60Hz,10-bit deep color/162Mhz. This is not a bi-directional adpater, only converter signal from mini DP port to HDMI/VGA/DVI port.
