Soft Pastel Set : 60 Liz Haywood-sullivan Skies And Water Pastels

This 60-piece Skies & Water Set was hand chosen by renowned artist Liz Haywood-Sullivan. This is a great set for pastelists interested in painting landscapes, skies, and water. This set is something I have been working on for a long time, made up of colors found in two of my favourite subjects, skies and water.

Working closely with master colorologist Terry Ludwig and his staff in creating it, I was mindful of choosing colors not commonly found in other sets to prevent replication. In fact, some of the blues and greys were speci ally formulated for this set. With these pastels you should have all the colors, and values, you need to create a complete sky or water painting.

Each pastel is crafted with a broad range of pigments by hand with minimal natural binders. This renders highly concentrated, velvety pastels. The square shape delivers thick, broad strokes or thin, precise lines where necessary. The size of these pastels are approximately 1 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2.

Because each pastel is hand-crafted, the size and shape may vary slightly.
