This is a description of a watercolor paper that is designed for use with water-based paints. The paper is made from a mixture of cotton and linen, and is sized with gelatin. designed for use with water-based paints. It is made from a mixture

deckle-edged, and bears the stamp and watermark of the RWS. At
425gsm, these are thick, high-quality sheets. They have a slightly
textured surface, and are not suitable for extremely detailed work.
