The Samsung Galaxy J Series can be described as “reliable and functional this is evident in the J1. Let’s face it, today, we all need a phone, but many of us can’t afford the astronomical prices. Well, the J1 will change that because of its affordability and so you’ll be able to now be contactable wherever you are!

This phone makes a statement – bright, vibrant colours will catch your eye every time you look at the screen. The usability is just as impressive: the buttons are responsive, but very sturdy – this is complimented by the elevated home key.

If you’re worried that the 4GB of built-in memory won’t be enough, don’t despair; just slip in a microSD card – this will let you store all your favourite apps, music, photos without any issues.

However, as this is an entry-level phone, hardware specs and overall performance isn’t great, but even having said this, we need to give it credit.  It performs all the basic tasks well. There is absolutely no doubt that if you’re looking for an affordable, reliable and functional smartphone, the J1 is perfect for you.
