Review: Asus Transformer T100HA 10.1” Intel Atom Notebook

0

The 2-in-1 convertible is very cool if you like a balance between a keyboard and touchscreen. Its versatility – due to the tablet being able to detach from the console – is its primary feature and is therefore fantastic for those with an active lifestyle. So, what has Asus whipped up?

There’s no doubt that the 2-in-1 convertible is innovative, but today, every manufacturer is pushing them out, making the market very competitive; so, the machine needs to be exemplary in order for it to stand out from the crowd.

While the transformer is ultra-portable and resourceful, some of the decisions that Asus has made are questionable – the slow CPU, durability, keyboard quality and construction raise red flags. Its overall performance doesn’t seem to live up to the hype that surrounded its launch.

However, it’s an affordable machine and is able to handle daily tasks quite well. So, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly tablet/laptop combo, try this out.
