The fruit is a legume pod of varying size and shape.Indigofera langebergensis is a South African endemic species from the Western Cape Province where it can be found growing from Cape Peninsula to George. It grows into a 3 meter tall shrub. During spring it bears rose to purple flowers. These are followed by reddish-brown seed capsules.
