The Adastra BC6W is a white compact passive speaker with a rugged ABS enclosure and sturdy metal grille, suitable for wall mounting or just free standing. Designed for general purpose background music and paging applications in pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants, cinemas, hotels, shops and other similar venues. It is a two way design employing a 165mm polypropylene bass driver and a 25mm balanced dome tweeter with integral crossover. The BC6W has a frequency response of 80Hz to 20kHz and can deliver up to 60W rms with a load impedance of 8Ω. Electrical connection is by way of a pair of gold plated spring terminals and it comes supplied with a colour coordinated mounting bracket. It is also possible fly the speaker via its integral M6 machine screw sockets with a corresponding fixing. The cabinet is of a trapezoidal design which makes the speaker an ideal shape for installing into corners, greatly adding to the versatility of the product in domestic dwellings for surround sound of hi-fi use.
