UHF RFID eartgs for tagging cattle and wild game.Tag has an embedded passive UHF transponder sealed inside the eartag which allow the animals identity to be read at distances up to 10 meters from the reader. Each transponder emits a unique identity number enabling computer management and monitoring of herds. Tag size is 100mm high by 76mm wide and weighs 26 grams total for both the male and female parts. Tags are South African made.Attachment equipment and indelible pens for marking the physical identity of the animal on the tag is also available.Note - These tags are ONLY compatible with South African produced Ecotag readers.
