The Sphere Long Drink is a glass designed by Roman Kvita from the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague. The glass is inspired by the sphere and features refractions that make it striking. The Sphere Long Drink was awarded with the Red Dot Design Award in 2015.
Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague. The result is SPHERE, a range of glassware created by emerging designer Roman Kvita. My inspiration came from the most simple geometrical shape, the sphere, says Roman. As I developed my idea, I was excited by the way spherical shapes play with light to make striking refractions. In 2015, the line SPHERE has been awarded for its superior product design with the internationally renowned Red Dot Design Award.
