Description
The Sigma USB dock is a device that connects to a photographers lens to update firmware and other parameters. The Sigma Photo Pro software is available for both Mac and PC computers. There are 4 categories of customization for fixed focal length lenses, 16 categories of customization for zoom lenses, and 4 options for focal length and 4 options for shooting distance. The Sports Line has AF Speed, Focus Limiter, and OS adjustment modes. The USB dock is compatible with the following lenses: DG 35mm F1.4, DG HSM Art, O O X X X, 24-105mm F4, DG OS HSM Art, O O X X X, 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports, O O O O, DC 17-70mm F2.8-4, MACRO OS HSM Contemporary, O O X X X, 30mm F1.4 DC HSM Art, O O X X X, 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art, and OS Function, AF Speed and Focus limiter are only adjustable with the lenses with a custom mode switch.
The Sigma USB dock works in conjunction with Sigma Optimization Pro software in order to connect a photographers lens to their personal computer to update firmware and other parameters such as focus, and for the Sports category: Autofocus speeds, focus limiters, and optical stabilization functionality. Updating the firmware can be done via the internet. Sigma Photo Pro is available for Mac and PC computers.
