Description
The product described is a 35ML tube of Naples Yellow oil paint, made in the traditional Blockx method using stone mills. The paint is made from high-quality pigments and oil, ensuring maximum lightfastness, smooth consistency, and easy mixing on the canvas. The pigments used have a minimum lightfast rating of 7 out of 8 on the blue wool scale, making them highly resistant to fading. Iron oxides, earths, and blacks are ground with linseed oil, while all other pigments are ground with poppyseed oil, known for its lack of yellowing and wrinkling during drying. The specific pigments used in this product are PW4, PY35, and PY42. The paint is opaque and ground with poppyseed oil.
Still handground in the Blockx tradition with slowly rotating stone mills, these extra-fine artists' colours are made from the finest selection of pigments and oil.Only pure pigment is used for maximum lightfastness, buttery consistency and easy mixing on the canvas itself.All colours have a minimum lightfast rating 7 out of 8 on the blue wool scale. So they all can be considered perfectly lightfast.
