Description
The paint is called Lascaux Gouache and is a unique acrylic-modified tempera paint. It consists of 34 balanced hues, including silver and gold. It is characterised by its purity, brilliance, depth of color, and lightfastness. It is highly concentrated, lightfast, permanent, and non-yellowing. It dries to a velvety, elastic water-soluble finish. It is thick and smooth, and has excellent covering power. Hues remain intense even when heavily diluted. It adheres well to various supports, and is barely lighter in color when dry. Lascaux Gouache can be applied to all absorbent materials, and because it is highly concentrated, it retains its intensity even when diluted 1:1 or more. Thus, this tempera color can be applied undiluted and opaque or diluted with water to obtain different glazings in any desired shade.
