This is a description of a 12" figure of Captain Apollo from the classic TV show "Battlestar Galactica" from the 70s. The figure is highly detailed and a collector's item. The show follows the story of 12 colonies of mankind after they are attacked by the Cylon Empire, leaving them with only one surviving warship, the Galactica. The survivors must search for the mythical planet Earth, their only hope for survival.

Surviving citizens of these worlds are forced to take flight into the unknown under the wing of their race's only surviving warship, a 4,100-foot-long carrier craft named the Galactica. Their only hope is to find the mythical planet Earth, the supposed 13th colony of Mankind, lost millennia ago when humans first left the mother world, Kobol.
