This book tells the story of a group of Cheyenne Indians who were forced to leave their home in the American Southwest and travel to Yellowstone National Park in order to return to their tribe. The journey was long and difficult, and the Indians were often forced to travel on foot or on horseback. The book also includes an introduction by Alan Boye, which provides background information on the Cheyenne people and their history.
