Description

The contacts of the IDC (IDC - Insulation Displacement Contact), unlike other available designs, are V-shaped with flexible arms. Thanks to this, when connecting the cable cores, the contacts bend only slightly, which minimizes material fatigue and significantly extends the product life. The specially selected shape of the slot connector housing facilitates the installation process, allowing the conductors to align themselves in the appropriate slots of the connector.

The reinforcing cap completely protects the cable conductors against being pulled out. The double color marking system allows the configuration of wires in 568A or 568B sequence. The RJ45 port is equipped with a unique integral shutter, which not only protects the interior against the ingress of dirt, but also indicates correct cable connection.

This is due to the spring mechanism that ejects the shutter each time the patch cord is disconnected. When the plug is not properly connected, the spring force of this mechanism causes it to be fully rejected, thus eliminating false connections that do not allow transmission but make it difficult to pinpoint the source of error.

In addition, the movable shutter cleans all socket contacts during each connection / disconnection of the patch cord, further reducing maintenance requirements.
