Description
This remote toggle switch (RTS) is family to the already successful ECM, BBS, SMP & ATS modules. It is an electrical plug n play switch, which allows you to manage appliances from a distance by switching them ON or OFF remotely via a remote fob. When the RTS is powered up initially, output A will allow the power through to the electrical appliances/devices. Then when button B is depressed on the remote fob, the power is switched over from output A to output B. This results in the power from output A being cut OFF & the power to flow through output B. If button A is then depressed again the opposite is true where the power form output B is cut OFF & the power enabled through output A. So in essence it toggles between the two outputs A & B.
In the case where you would only like to manage one appliance/device, simply use only one output, namely output A. Leave output B with nothing plugged into it. Then by depressing button B, the appliance connected to output A will switch OFF. To switch it back ON again, simply depress button A on the remote fob.
During a power outage or loadshedding, the power will automatically resume again through the output, however it will always default to output A.
This RTS can be used in multiple applications such as switching a battery charger ON or OFF remotely. The long distance remote transceiver allows you to be up to 30m (Line of site) away from the RTS to manage the appliances/devices. Switch on a light on a shed, enable a small pump, the applications are endless due to the easy use of a wireless remote fob.

How to use:
Insert the plug labelled MAINS into the wall socket of the house or office & switch it ON.
Insert the plug of any appliance/device into the 230V output A and or B
The unit will now automatically allow appliances connected to output A to power up.
To enable appliances on output B, simply depress button B on the remote fob.
Please note:
Do not exceed its maximum power rating of 2000W.
Make sure to plug the unit in as per the connection drawing.
Connect appliances to output A if you would like those to come ON automatically after loadsheding.
Do not open the device as this will void the warranty & may be a source of electrical shock.
Power LEDs remain lit continuously when powered up as it indicates power flow to either output A or B.
This is not an inverter but can be used in conjunction with one.
Not to be used with heavy inductive loads such as motors, generators & compressors.
This unit is compatible with pure/true & modified sinewave inverters.
This is not a battery charger but can be used in conjunction with one.
The solution includes one 2032 battery in the remote fob, when this is flat please replace Type = 2032
It is advisable to plug the RTS into a surge protection adapter / multi-plug to prevent spikes from the grid.
