The Manix 2 Ball Cage Lock is a lightweight, red aluminum piece that can be used on both the Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL knives. It weighs only 0.05 oz and requires a break-in period when first installed. This product is not endorsed by Spyderco and may void the manufacturer's warranty. It is not compatible with the Manix 2 Lightweight model.
The ball cage lock will fit both the Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL (but not the lightweight models as they do not have liners). This handy piece weighs in at just 0.05 oz.Because each knife is slightly different, there is a break-in period when you install your new ball cage lock. Spend an afternoon playing with your knife, enjoying your new lock, and youll be good to go!
