This is a description and warning for an ASG Battery 9.6V 1600MAH Nimh T-plug CONNECTOR-19623. It is a flat pack battery with a T-Plug connector, suitable for powering AEGs. The battery should only be charged with approved NiMH chargers and should not be pierced, disassembled, short-circuited, or connected directly to an electrical outlet. It should also not be struck, thrown, or immersed in water. After use, it should be disconnected and stored in a cool, dry place. It should not be used near heat sources and should not be disposed of in fire or heat. The battery should not be charged with a current higher than 1C and should be monitored during charging. If it starts to balloon or swell, charging should be stopped. Before and after use, the battery should be inspected for physical damage or swelling. The manufacturer recommends using a protective charging bag and their own charger for the battery. Stop charging immediately if the temperature exceeds 45C
Stop using the battery if the temperature exceeds 60C
Never leave NiMH batteries charging unattended
Always monitor the charging process of your NiMH batteries so that you can react immediately to any potential problems.
If your NiMH batteries start to balloon or swell up, discontinue charging/discharging/usage
Inspect your NiMH batteries before and after use to ensure there is no physical damage or swelling, as those are signs of imminent failure.
