The Ideapro Active HD 1080P HDMI Female To Vga Female Converter Adapter Dongle is a device that allows for the transfer of HDMI signals from devices such as computers, laptops, and gaming consoles to VGA signals for display on larger screens. It is compact and easy to carry, and supports plug and play without the need for any settings. The adapter is powered by the HDMI port and supports HDMI V1.4 and 3D. It has a maximum resolution of 1080p and also includes a 3.5mm audio jack for audio output. The package includes the adapter and an audio cable. It is important to note that the adapter only works in one direction and is not compatible with Macbooks with thunderbolt/mini dp ports. Additionally, the resolution of the HDMI source should not exceed the maximum resolution of the monitor/TV and all input/output interfaces (HDMI, VGA, 3.5mm Jack) must be connected for it to work properly. It is also advised not to short out the bottom two connections on the VGA side to avoid damaging devices.
