The main function of the motor mount set is to keep the engine and transmission secured to the vehicle's frame and to prevent some components safe from damaging caused by the impact. But sometimes, the mount will wear out, break or become loose. When it fails, the engine and transmission may move excessively, components may get damage and some abnormal noise will be created. The whole ride will become uncomfortable and there are also some risks when driving.
