The Superpure 10 Inch Sediment Water Filter Replacement Cartridge 5-PACK is a pack of 5 sediment filters that are 10 inches in size and have a 5-micron rating. These filters are typically used as the first stage in a water filtration system to remove visible dirt particles like mud, rust, and sand. They are made with a multi-layer structure and do not use chemical binders. While they may make the water appear clean, they may not be able to remove smaller contaminants that are not visible to the naked eye. The micron number of a sediment filter refers to the largest dirt particle that can pass through it, with options ranging from 1 to 100um.
