The TP-Link VIGI NVR1008H-8P is an 8-channel network video recorder that offers high-quality video recording and playback capabilities. It has a simplified deployment process with PoE+ technology, allowing for easy connection and power for PoE cameras. The NVR also has the ability to simultaneously playback footage from up to 8 cameras, making it easier to review footage and find events. It uses H.265+ compression to save disk space and reduce monitoring costs without sacrificing image quality. The NVR is also compatible with ONVIF, allowing for a variety of cameras to be added to the network. It has plug and play capabilities for easy installation and offers 24/7 continuous recording with up to 10 TB of storage. Remote monitoring is possible through the dedicated VIGI app, web UI, and VIGI Security Manager. The NVR can be installed on a rack or placed on a desk for convenience and also has two-way audio support for voice intercom. It is suitable for management and comes with a 1-year warranty.
