The Growcol 1P 8kW Hybrid Inverter is a 48V/DC inverter/charger that can operate both with and without solar panels and grid-tied or off-grid. The integration of four (!) independent MPPT optimizes the charging and discharging of the batteries by managing up to four independent PV Solar Panel Groups. Priority can be given to charging via the grid or the connected PV system. Operation and monitoring is possible via the integrated LCD Touch Screen or remotely. The system can be expanded up to 105 kW by combining a total of eight of these units in parallel operation.

The Growcol 1P 8kW is a hybrid inverter/charger that can operate both, with and without solar panels and grid-tied or off-grid. The integration of four (!) independent MPPT optimises the charging and discharging of the batteries by managing up to four independent PV Solar Panel Groups. Priority can be given to charging via the grid or the connected PV system.
Operation and Monitoring
The system can be operated via the integrated LCD Touch Screen but can also be remotely monitored and operated using WiFi (included) and cloud computing. Up to 8 parallel Growcol inverters can be combined.
Charge controller
The MPPTs lower the voltage of panels to the required level to charge the battery. The current is raised with the same ratio as the voltage is lowered. This continuously happens during the day to optimise the use of energy. This is dependent on the power of the sun, the angle and the temperature and health of the panels.
The charge controller also makes sure the battery will not be overcharged, but also not fully discharged. Diesel generators as back-up power supplies are supported.
Capacity expansion
The system's capacity can be expanded up to 105 kW by combining a total of eight of these units in parallel operation.
