Description
The light bulb is a 9 watt LED that is rechargeable. It has a built-in sensor to determine the state of the switch and will automatically stay on if there is a power outage or load shedding. It needs a 6-hour charging time to restore it to its full brightness. When using the light bulb for the first few times it may flash or flicker. It is not faulty. The battery is building up storage memory. The bulb works best when used alone in one fitting, with one switch to control it. Having multiple bulbs/fittings on one switch will reduce the efficacy of the bulb. The bulb automatically recharges when Eskom power returns.
