Description
The Axpert Type 3000VA inverter system includes a PURE SINE WAVE inverter, a 50APWM solar controller, two lithium lifePO4 200AH 12V batteries, and a steel battery case. The batteries are designed for backup use only and are not meant to be used for daily solar off-grid charging/discharging. The inverter system is plug and play and can be connected to any appliance that uses a regular 3-pin plug. The warranty/guarantee is 1 year.
Note: Fan comes on during charging and load shedding. Once batteries are fully charged, the unit is SILENT

Q) What is an inverter system and what does it do?It is an inverter unit coupled with a battery which provides power when there is load shedding. It keeps its battery charged when there is Eskom power. As soon as Eskom power cuts, the system instantly transfers over to battery power so you can keep your lights, TV, computers, chargers and wifi running during load shedding
Q) Is it easy to connect up? Do I have to fiddle with electronics?It is super easy The system is plug and play.The inverter has a regular 3-pin plug that goes into the wall. You then have a 3-way multiplug on the inverter that allows you to connect any appliance you want. Keep the appliances connected at all times, the inverter will automatically switch to battery as soon as it detects Eskom power is down.
Q) How much backup time will I have on the unit before normal Eskom power comes back on to recharge the battery?Assume a computer, TV, and desk lamp are connected to the inverter:This unitwill last 8-12 hours
Only want a lamp, Wi-Fi router, and laptop connected to the inverter: This unit will last 20-24 hours
Q) What appliances can I run on the inverter system?This unit is PURE SINE WAVE (same electricity signal that comes from Eskom), so can run any appliance as long as the total load is less than 3000W
Q) Can I connect the inverter to my houses DB (electric) board so that my whole house is powered when Eskom does load shedding?Sure you can - You will just need an electrician to wire it correctly into your DB board.
