Description
This product is a solar photovoltaic cable designed to provide an optimal connection between solar modules and an AC/DC inverter. The cable is made of a flexible tinned copper conductor with a cross-linked compound insulation and a sheath. It is rated for a maximum permitted voltage of 1800VDC and has a test voltage of 6.5 kV AC 50 Hz. The cable has a cross-sectional area of 6mm² and is rated for a rated current of 70 A. The cable is dielectric and has a halogen free copolymer insulation. It is rated for a working voltage of 0.6/1.0kV AC (0.8/1.5kV DC) and a maximum voltage of 1.2kV AC (1.8kV DC). The cable has a bending radius of 4 x diameter of cable and is rated for a storage/operating temperature of -40°C to +90°C* and a minimum installation temperature of -5°C. The cable is TUV-Rheinland 2PfG 1169 compliant.

Product Overview The Solarix 6mm2 Single Core Solar Photovoltaic PV Cable Black 100 Metre Roll is designed for the interconnection of various elements of photovoltaic systems and in particular those for installation at Direct Current (DC) side with a nominal DC voltage of up to 1.5kV between conductors as well as between conductor and earth, and not exceeding 1800VDC. Suitable for fixed installation outside and inside without protection or inside pipes, ducts or similar closed systems High resistance against ozone, U.V. rays, oils and moisture. and also for connection to the AC/DC inverter. Suitable for use at an ambient temperature up to 90°C (120°C overload) and tested according to TUV-Rheinland 2PFG 1169 Standard. The estimated lifetime of these cables is at least 15 years.
