The product is a carnauba wax and it is clear coat safe. The product is also simple to apply and remove. The premium formula uses only the best carnauba wax and is fortified with long-lasting polymers. The product can be applied by hand or by machine with the Meguiar's MT320 Dual Action Polisher. The four stage process is to first use the Meguiar's G1016EU Smooth Surface Clay Kit, then use the Meguiar's G17216EU Ultimate Compound, then use the Meguiar's G19216EU Ultimate Polish, and finally use the Meguiar's G7016EU Gold Class Liquid Wax.
