This is a description of Jackson's White Gesso Panels, which are made of Cradled Pine and MDF board and can be bought in packs of ten or singly. The panels have a tough surface that is perfect for painting and mixed media, and are hand-coated with a professional acid-free acrylic gesso. The frame is made of Pine wood, and the board is MDF. The panels may have slight differences in texture, but are generally smooth. They are great for watercolour, and can be added to a medium if desired to make a smoother ground.

If a perfectly smooth surface is required, they can be given a light sanding with fine grade sandpaper.
